1 January 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: Happy Blessed New Year 2022 to all families with good health and glad tidings from the Lord! Let us be filled with the thoughts of the Lord in 2022. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Jeremiah 29:11.

This is the year of the Light and the Seeker. There will be a great awakening, arising, and assembling. “But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” Ephesians 5:13-14 NIV.

It’s a reminder to seek God first His Kingdom and righteousness in all things and matters this year, and delight in the Lord for He shall fulfil the desires of your heart. Psalm 37:4. It is a relational year where our focus is building deep and strong relationship with God and with others. “Seeking” is not asking God for what you want, but to hunger, thirst, and desire His presence not His presents. We seek His face, not just His hand. Jesus seek God as His father, not just a provider, healer or deliverer. How are we building our relationship with God? “You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” Psalm 16:11. Let’s build strong relationships in 2022! Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord My God, draw me closer into your light, wisdom and presence as I draw closer to you in 2022. Let the weight of your glory fall! Teach me and guide me with your light to my path for you are my sun and shield, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
