Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine. Many are impoverished or facing financial challenges is because they don’t give tithe and offerings. In Malachi 3:10, God clearly mentioned that his people are cursed through robbing the tithe and first fruits of their crops. Tithes breaks the curse of poverty and prevents Satan from stealing or devouring our finances because Tithes belongs to God. However, offerings is different. Offerings like First Fruits stretches our faith in giving. Offerings is to please God and He looks at our Faith in giving from our hearts to multiply, for the Lord loves a cheerful giver!
One of my mentors once told me that if I have an apple and if I devour the apple and the seeds, I will miss the opportunity to plant an apple plantation. Praise God for Wisdom!
