“To humans belong the plans of the heart, but from the Lord comes the proper answer of the tongue. All a person’s ways seem pure to them, but motives are weighed by the Lord. Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.” Proverbs 16:1-3 NIV
Have we ever make our plans with God and commit them to Him in prayers? Are our plans only to satisfy our flesh, our eyes and proud pursuits or do we seek the Lord for His divine direction? The difference between Lot and Abraham is that the former seeks the best for himself but the latter seeks the walk and plans of God.
God weighs all our motives and he who follows His voice shall bear much fruit in 2023. He knows us better than ourselves and all the plans of life are revealed by His grace for His testimonies. Let him who have ears, let him hear. Obedience is always better than sacrifice. This is wisdom.
