The Promise of the Power of Holy Spirit

“He said to them: “It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭1:7-8‬ ‭

God’s power is to heal, deliver and reconcile man to Him through Christ Jesus. These words were given by messiah before He ascended to the mighty right hand of God. He prophesied that we will be witness to our home, which is our Jerusalem, our neighbour, which is Judea and our community, which reflects Samaria. Baptism of Holy Spirit is not about what you going to do but who you are in Christ. It is the being, not the doing. It changes our attitude, behaviour and character within not by our own strength, but by His Holy Spirit. We realised Christ and His likeness is becoming the full desire of our hearts.

Strangely, when I was baptised in the Spirit, I realised I was quick to confess my sins, apologise and prompt to forgive my offenders. It was an unspeakable freedom, peace and joy to my soul and heart. It’s no longer I but Christ lives in me. Galatians 2:20. Praise God!

To God be the glory!

Love Always,
