The Divine “Insteads” of God

“Instead of your shame you will receive a double portion, and instead of disgrace you will rejoice in your inheritance. And so you will inherit a double portion in your land, and everlasting joy will be yours. “For I, the Lord, love justice; I hate robbery and wrongdoing. In my faithfulness I will reward my people and make an everlasting covenant with them. Their descendants will be known among the nations and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people the Lord has blessed.” Isaiah‬ ‭61:7-9‬ ‭NIV

In prayer and fasting, miracles and divine “Insteads” shall come suddenly to turn over adversaries of God’s kingdom. Queen Esther fasted and prayed for her people and it overturned the King’s verdict and destroyed Haman and his evil scheme to kill all Jews. Daniel prayed and fasted 21 days to saw the deliverance of the Israelites in a foreign land. God has a plan of Double for your Trouble! Praise God! He is the God of justice, faithfulness and righteousness. He turns all disgrace and shame into honour and praise. Trust in God wholeheartedly and He will direct your path.

The Cross of Calvary is the “Instead” turning point. All pain, hurts, sufferings and even curses are halted at the Cross. It brings us new hope, faith and love for God’s divine plan. If God so love us to give us Jesus, there is nothing He will not do for you. Enter into His loving kindness in your prayer and fasting. He renew your strength like eagles to soar again! Isaiah 40:31

To God be the glory!
