My God Who Helps

As we come near to Good Friday, we come to remember the crucifixion of Christ, the lamb of God who takes away all our sins, iniquities and transgressions to the Cross of Calvary.

For God so love our souls that He gave His only begotten son, Jesus Christ to die at the Cross for our sins and whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but has eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. John‬ ‭3‬:‭16-17. There is power in the Cross to redeem our souls. Christ sends His Holy Spirit to help us repent, forgive and love one another.

When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the charge of our legal indebtedness, which stood against us and condemned us; he has taken it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross. Colossians‬ ‭2‬:‭13‬-‭15‬.‭
