How You Live Matters
“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; the Lord bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless. Lord Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.” Psalm 84:10-12 NIV
This verse speaks loudly the heart of King David. Would you be happy to be a door keeper? True joy and happiness comes from how we live as a disciple of Jesus Christ. This reflects the humility and the heart of David after God’s heart. We must live with integrity in simplicity than riches through wickedness. Darkness will never comprehend the light nor overcome it. John 1:5. Our treasure resides in how we live our life for Christ and building strong relationships.
Put our trust in God and live in His ways. Even doing simple things and living an honest life blamelessly with peace and honour is greater than living in a lofty place with unrest, fear and sinful life. Repentance helps us to make divine changes in life like David did in Psalm 51. No good thing will God withhold from you.
To God be the glory!
