“Even there Your hand shall lead me, And Your right hand shall hold me. If I say, “Surely the darkness shall fall on me,” Even the night shall be light about me; Indeed, the darkness shall not hide from You, But the night shines as the day; The darkness and the light are both alike to You.” Psalms 139:10-12 NKJV
I have faced many challenges in life and there were times of darkness when I do not know how tomorrow will turn out. Isn’t this Covid a clear sign of such perilous times? Truly we are entering an era where there comes a famine of words. Amos 8:11. No one has the answers for the future. However. God is not surprised. He knew the sinful ways of man, the stiffening of their necks and hardening of their hearts towards Him. Does anyone blame God in Covid or in September 11? Absolutely, like the garden of Eden. Yet to God this darkness is of light to Him.
For Joseph’s life, when his brothers meant evil against him, God meant it for the good so that many will come to salvation. Genesis 50:20. God turned every curses into blessing, prison to palace, and hatred to forgiveness. Praise God! Take God’s hand today. He will lead you.
To God be the glory!
