Man’s promises are fallible, but God’s promises aren't. “The fear of man brings a snare, But whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe.” Proverbs 29:25
The challenge we normally face as a believer is that we are so used to seeking man for solutions rather than seeking God for revelation in prayer and discerning His voice and His Word. It’s a battle between the flesh and the Spirit man. It’s major difference to assume God is on our side than to ensure we chose to put God first and to be on His side by being obedient to His Word.
When we learn to fear God more than man, we begin to grow spiritually, rooted deeper in Christ, and being unshaken with a strong foundation of godly principles. Fearing God is not about being afraid like a slave but knowing one’s identity as a child of God.
