7 February 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: "Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you— The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month.“ Joel‬ ‭2‬:‭23‬ ‭NKJV. Don’t look at the past former rain but be expectant to the latter rain. Our mind needs to be renewed by the Holy Spirit to be able to receive what God has for us in the new season and year to come. All things shall pass away but God’s word will never pass away. Matthew 24:35.

God does not want us to be arrested by our past with fear or pain but desire us to arise by His grace with faith for the future. You might have gone through some tests, trials or trauma recently or in the past but that doesn’t remove your identity with Christ and promises of God in His Word. What the world does is temporal but what God’s kingdom does is eternal. Jesus didn’t come just to live in the world but to bring to us the Kingdom of God. Likewise we are created to bring forth the gospel of truth of God’s love, healing, restoration and reconciliation. For behold, I create new heavens and a new earth; And the former shall not be remembered or come to mind. Isaiah‬ ‭65‬:‭17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬ Hold on to Christ, for His glory is coming.

Prayer: O Lord my God, for your ways is higher than my ways, so as the heavens is higher than the earth. Your thoughts are not my thoughts, for your the Lord of my latter rain and the glory that is beyond my comprehension. May 2024 be like an open heaven, which you pour forth your Spirit upon us with new prophetic utterances, visions, dreams and divine fulfilment. Let my hand not be weary of sowing in the Kingdom, for a greater harvest shall await me in a hundredth fold as your Word has spoken, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
