Today’s Inspiration: “Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?” Matthew 6:26 NKJV. Have we ever taken a look at the moon, sun, stars, rain, creatures, trees and plants around us and wonder who moves and takes care of them? We always think that we need to be religious and righteous in order for God to come close to us but on the contrary and ironically it is sinners that need Jesus and Salvation. Matthew 9:13.
Christ didn’t wait from heaven for the world to be holy and cleansed but rather He took off His robes of righteousness and His crown of glory to come down on this earth to die for all our sins at the Cross and was raised up from the grave to defeat death so that whosoever believed in Him shall not perish in their sins but repent to have eternal life. John 3:16. You and I are souls that are valuable to God so do not let the devil, the father of lies tells you otherwise. In Matthew 6, Jesus not only taught his disciples how to pray but also not to be burdened by the past or be fearful of the future, for tomorrow shall worry for itself. Matthew 6:34. Our Lord is Jehovah Jireh, our divine provider for this life and eternity.
Prayer: O Lord my God, for this is the day that the Lord has made, let I rejoice and be glad in it. I believe and proclaim that you are my divine provider who is able to provide exceedingly abundantly above all I can ever ask or imagined, according to the power of Christ that works within me in Jesus' Name, Amen.
