5 November 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “I keep asking that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the glorious Father, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, so that you may know him better.” Ephesians‬ ‭1‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ What is the Church today? How may I seek the wisdom of God? Do I search for the most extravagant worship or most inspiring sermons? Yet the Bible says without revelation, we perish or cast off restraints. Proverbs 29:18. We need both the Word and the Spirit to balance our spiritual growth. With Word and no move of Holy Spirit, we dry up. With no Word but only spiritual perceptions, we puff up. With both, we grow up in spiritual maturity.

The Church is where the wisdom of God shall manifest in the end of times. It is discipleship that will combine both the Word and the Spirit, like Jesus to His disciples. Jesus taught,” The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing. The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life.” John‬ ‭6‬:‭63.‬ ‭Look around the world and you will notice the condition of the Church depicts the condition of Nation. His intent was that now, through the church, the manifold wisdom of God should be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly realms, according to his eternal purpose that he accomplished in Christ Jesus our Lord. In him and through faith in him we may approach God with freedom and confidence. Ephesians‬ ‭3‬:‭10‬-‭12‬. ‭Breakthroughs will only come through Christ Jesus, the Name above all Names! He is coming for His glorious Church.

Prayer: O Lord my God, open the eyes of my heart Lord that I may know Christ in the Word and the Spirit. Let me not live a life based on my thoughts and desires but a life of your revelations, truth and wisdom. I believe in Christ I am a new creation, for old has passed and the new has come. I receive a new chapter being lead by the Spirit and not man, ground by the Word and not flesh, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
