5 June 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭11‬-‭13‬ ‭NKJV.‬‬ Before the Spirit of the Lord can come upon us there must be unity and oneness to believe in the Lord, just like the 120 in the upper room in Acts 2, who prayed, fasted, waited and hoped upon the Lord with an undivided heart. And the results was supernatural with 3000 families saved during Pentecost.

The disciples can be disappointment and discouraged by going back to their chronos time in fishing after Jesus resurrection but the Lord reinstated Peter and team in John 21. It was prayer of unity, oneness and an undivided heart of Acts 1:8, which turned their worldly time into God’s divine time. Are you in chronos of dryness, tiredness or hopelessness? Turn your eyes, your mind and heart to God in prayer. Prayer has the power to turn our chronos time to God’s Kairos time. The Pentecost was God’s Kairos time and disciples were turned to apostles, poverty was turned to abundance and sickness was turned to signs and wonders. All was in awe of God’s word, in prayer, fellowship and breaking into communion daily. Acts 2:42. It’s time to turn our chronos time to kairos time. Glory to God.

Prayer: O Lord my God, let the flames of my lamp be kept burning in prayers, petitions, and thanksgiving in my heart. Turn my chronos time into your kairos time. Renew my mind and restore my soul, to realign to your calling, will and propose for the Kingdom of God. Let my body be a living sacrifice unto you with oneness, unity and an undivided heart which pleases you in every of your commands, statutes, and instructions, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
