Today’s Inspiration: “May the Lord answer you when you are in distress; may the name of the God of Jacob protect you. May he send you help from the sanctuary and grant you support from Zion. May he remember all your sacrifices and accept your burnt offerings. May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy over your victory and lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests.” Psalms 20:1-5.
God created us to be givers and not takers, producers and not consumers. God not only loves a generous giver but a cheerful and willing one. 2 Corinthians 9:7. God remembers our tithes, offerings and sacrifice made for His Kingdom and our love for Him. People are afraid to give because of the fear of lack, afraid to love because of the fear of rejection, and afraid to change because of the fear of future. But God knows what we need before we come to Him in prayer. Matthew 6:8. Learning how to give not just breaks the cycle of poverty but breaks the cycle of fear in our spirit man. Love is a living sacrifice which renews our mind and stretches our faith to trust God with all our hearts, with all our soul and with all our strength. Deuteronomy 6:5. God is our Jehovah Nissi, our Lord and Banner of victory. Don’t be afraid to give, love and sacrifice because God shall make all your plans in His to be a success for His glory.
Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me in fervent prayers to overcome all my fears. Send forth your divine help from your throne of grace and give a new measure of faith to give, love and change to be more like you in the Image of Christ. You are victorious and we shall be victorious in you. Let thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
