Today’s Inspiration: “The multitude of camels shall cover your land, The dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; All those from Sheba shall come; They shall bring gold and incense, And they shall proclaim the praises of the Lord. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together to you, The rams of Nebaioth shall minister to you; They shall ascend with acceptance on My altar, And I will glorify the house of My glory. Isaiah 60:6-7. We serve a God of glory who nourishes the land that he blessed not because of how good we are but how great He is.
Giving our best to God is not just about our substance or offerings, it’s about giving our attention, obedience and application to His Word and commandments. 1 Samuel 15:22. It’s not about how much we give because all we have are given by God, for all things are His. Psalm 50:10. What God desires is that we give our hearts to Him, just as He gave His only begotten son Jesus Christ for us. Giving without the heart is religious like the Pharisees and giving without the substance is carnal like Cain. What God has called, He will provide and what He has blessed will be glorified. Isaiah 55:11. Without giving our whole heart to God, exposes us to temptations and distractions. Such foothold causes emotional unrest and mental stress. Worship and intercession helps us to take back our grounds and evict satan and his influence out of our lands. Year 2022 is to get back to your calling, take new grounds, restore the Land. Guard your hearts and give no foothold to the enemy. Proverbs 4:23.
Prayer: O Lord my God, restore all of my heart for your calling, purpose and will. I shall shake off the dust and filth from the world, and take back my peace to worship you, for you are Holy. Lead me away from temptations and deliver me from evil. For yours is the Kingdom, power, and glory forevermore, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
