30 November 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭NIV. Trust is tested not in good times but in bad times. We all love the grace of God but how many know the cost of grace in Christ Jesus. The end of times spiritual warfare is on our trust in God. The major challenge for today’s church is distraction, detraction, deception and eventually division. If we can’t trust God, we cannot build trust with others. More so in the family.

Are we looking at our own mandate than God’s mandate? How many today really serve the Vision given by God to the Church today? Many leave church because of personal perception, pursuits or propaganda due to hurts. If Jesus died for the Church to be birth, He is coming for His Glorious Church, His Ekklesia of healing, restoration and reconciliation. It is not how big, famous or anointed a church or the pastor can be but how much the fulfilment of God’s vision and mission is accomplished. Do not focus on the oppositions, controversies and differences, that we are not longer seeing the great commission, great commandment, and above all the great coming of the Lord. It is the vision of God through Christ that unites, strengthens and builds with trust that is eternal and could never be destroyed. God’s love never fails.

Prayer: O Lord my God, in my prayers help me to deepen my trust and yield my spirit to your Holy Spirit. Let your Word be like a double edged sword which cuts through my doubts, fears and unbelief and bring forth faith, love and hope in your Name. I choose to let go of the things of the world and sins in repentance and to hold onto you with absolute trust and wholehearted will to abide in you Lord and your Word. Lead me and direct my steps to your victory in the advent, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
