30 April 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” 2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:17-21.‬ ‭

The ministry of reconciliation is not with man but with God. This is taken for granted easily because we need God’s Word to cleanse us daily just like taking a bath to remove all sweat, dirt and smell of yesterday or even hour before. Old emotional baggages attracts spiritual rodents. We have to discern and remove them promptly. Sanctification is the process toward godliness, not just in form but of spiritual formation. 2 Corinthians 7:1. What are the things inside of you that doesn’t belong to God which needs to be removed? Pride, lust, lies, anger, greed, jealousy, envy, or bitterness? The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, knowledge and understanding. Proverbs 9:10. The ministry of reconciliation is to follow Christ, having a deep and strong relationship with God and walking in His righteousness, not our own.

Prayer: O Lord my God, remove any bitter roots that is not planted by you in my soul, break my fallow ground and plant new seeds of your fruit for the glorious days to come deep inside of me. Let all the Lies and deception of satan be exposed and let all truth from the gospel set me free by your Worship, Word and Wisdom in Jesus' Name, Amen
