Today’s Inspiration: “Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.” Psalms 8:2. Many of us don’t realise that Words has lasting effects upon our lives since childhood, be it curses or blessings. Many with low self esteem grew up with inner voices of fear, shame, hopelessness and even worthlessness because of verbal, emotional and physical abuses. It’s cause one’s soul to be ensnared by the devil’s lies, condemnation and deception. John 8:44. These voices hinder our faith, believe and confidence in God to have success and victory. Therefore all of us need to be healed of our childhood wounds or they can become emotional echoes when we are pursuing new business, job, projects, ministry or relationships which manifests in pride, envy, anger, lies, bitterness, grief, insecurity and blame which can destroy or sabotage our God given destiny.
A classic example is the survey of the 12 spies for forty days in the promised land flowing with milk and honey that God has prepared to fight for the Israelites. But because of a slave mentality which they have grown up with in Egypt due to the abuses, the 10 spies belittled themselves as grasshoppers compared to the enemy’s giant soldiers. Numbers 13:33. Only Joshua and Caleb who has a different Spirit of faith began to rebuke all these lies and voices and the glory of the Lord manifested at the tabernacle of meeting. Numbers 14:10. Two of them silenced all the negative voices with the Word and Faith in God’s promises. And God brought only two of them in their generation into the promised land and the rest died in the wilderness. v38. Only the Word of God mixed with faith has the power to break generational curses and heal childhood wounds, through silencing the enemy for deliverance, word for word, faith by faith, and glory to glory. Hebrews 4:2 Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, lead me to break my silence with thy Word of power in the Name of Jesus to silence all the voices of my foes and the avengers from my childhood till now, replacing all curses into blessings, all sorrows into praises, and all condemnation into Christlike conversion. No weapons form against me and my future shall prosper and let all accusations of satan and his legions be rebuked and silenced for eternity, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
