29 May 2021 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: Even when tormented do not despair. No one can stop God's calling on your life which is eternal. Joseph's brothers tried but these led him to his greater destiny. What was meant evil for him turned out to be a great calling of God to save the lives of nations that put the enemy to shame. Genesis 50:20. Therefore do not be afraid. You will be amply supplied to meet your needs. What God has promised, not one word has failed. Joshua 23:14.

Are you feeling remorse as to your situation and wonder if the words of your calling are meant for you? Even King David with all his challenges could not forsake his calling to be King of Israel. What man designed, God turned it to be for His own good. We may not be able to see what is inside of us but He certainly knows it all. God can see beyond what we can see from our naked eyes.

You may have the best talents but nothing can beat the anointing and the passion to unleash the great potentiality in you. Only His righteousness and uprightness can preserve you.

Had Joseph not depend on the glorious might of God that empowers patience, Joseph would not have achieved what God designed him to achieve. Patience depends on our tremendous inner strength that can only be empowered through patience. Power for patience comes only through faith. This is why Apostle Paul prayed for the Colossian church to be strengthened with all might according to His glorious might for all patience and long suffering with joy giving always thanks to the Father who has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love in whom we have redemption through His blood the forgiveness of sins. Colossians 1:11-14. Patience is the fruit of the spirit that can only be acquired through faith. God be praised.

Prayer: I ask that I may be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding that I may walk worthy of the Lord fully pleasing Him and be fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
