29 March 2023 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “Worship the Lord your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you, and none will miscarry or be barren in your land. I will give you a full life span.” Exodus‬ ‭23‬:‭25‬-‭26‬ ‭NIV.‬‬ Worship is not limited to singing psalms and playing of instruments in the days of Moses and even of Messiah Yeshua. Worship is the Hebrew Word “Shachah” which means bowing down and humbling ourselves before the Lord, sanctifying ourselves and life in repentance with His Word to serve Him wholeheartedly in Spirit and Truth. John 4:24. God’s blessing comes upon a soul through inward convictions and Holy transformation in attitude, behaviour, and character daily.

Healing and fruitfulness comes in bearing fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23. Many are saved but few served the Lord. Through Christ teachings we learnt that the best attitude is gratitude in responding to God’s grace and mercy. Worship is to bring honour to God in all the things that we do. 1 Corinthians 10:31. Worship is to have the fear of the Lord inside of us, to reverence His Name in hating evil, pride, arrogance, evil behaviour and perverse speech. Proverbs 8:13. Worship is the reflection of our intimacy with God and the deep relationship we have with Him. Serving the Lord is not just in Church but more importantly God sees how do we honour our parents and serving our spouse, family, work and ministry. The woman at the well knew that Worship is no longer religious and hiding in sin but a deep relationship with the Messiah to live a Holy life.

Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the potter and I am the clay. Make me and mould me for this is what I pray. Change my heart O God, forgive all my sins, make me be like you to sanctify, and to serve God and others. Wash me with your Word, anoint me with your oil and guide me with your wisdom. Give me a pure heart and clean hands to bless and honour you all the days of my life, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
