Today’s Inspiration: “See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction.” Malachi 4:5-6. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus came to give us life and life abundantly. John 10:10.
Jesus gave His life at the Cross of Calvary for the salvation of all our souls with His precious blood to bring healing, restoration, and reconciliation with God. Drawing close to God is the key focus of the life of Christ. James 4:8. Money will not bring true joy in the heart but only a deep relationship with God does. Many are bitter, angry, and resentful because they do not know the Abba Father’s heart and love for us. Dysfunctional home brings dysfunctional images, emotions and practices which are habitual strongholds and bondages. God’s anointing comes from His love for us, especially for the fatherless or single mums. His anointing will break the yoke of fear, hopelessness and unforgiveness, shinning His glorious light of faith, hope and love. Isaiah 10:27. The Spirit of Elijah is to bring all into the baptism of Repentance. When there is forgiveness, there is reconciliation. The power of the Holy Spirit can bring healing to all relationships. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, I believe the same spirit that gave Jesus the resurrection power resides in me, your Holy Spirit. He is also the Spirit which gave Elijah the anointing to bring restoration and reconciliation between parents and children. I believe you are the God who heals the broken hearted, binding up our wounds, so that there is love, grace and forgiveness in my home and family, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
