Today’s Inspiration: “For the Lord will deliver Jacob and redeem them from the hand of those stronger than they.” Jeremiah 31:11. God didn’t redeem the Israelites with a mighty army nor He uses any human wisdom to convince Pharaoh to let His people go. It was not by might, nor by power but by His Holy Spirit. Zechariah 4:6. Moses didn’t begin his journey from the throne but the trials in the deserts and His commissioning wasn’t through being convinced but being consecrated at the burning bush. You may be facing a task, incident or situation bigger, stronger and greater than you that you feel out of control.
Remember this, God is in your boat through the storm. It might be seen that Jesus is sleeping at the aft but the presence of God is greater than the power of any waves and currents. He is not just the miracle worker but also the storm breaker. Praise God! Jeremiah was a man of deep devotion, lamentation, compassion and prayer. He carries a powerful message of healing, restoration and reconciliation with God. For the days shall come,” They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion; they will rejoice in the bounty of the Lord— the grain, the new wine and the olive oil, the young of the flocks and herds. They will be like a well-watered garden, and they will sorrow no more.” Jeremiah 31:12. When we put Jesus first at the front of the boat, miracles happen.
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the Lord of my waves, my storms and my trials, not just my blessings, favour and peace. Strengthen me with thy presence and gird me with your truth that I be led by your Word, Holy Spirit and Fire. I proclaim I am able because greater are you in me than all challenges, for I am too blessed to be stressed, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
