27 January 2024 Word by Senior Pastor, Pastor Darien Choo

Today‘s Inspiration: "Moses answered the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the Lord will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus‬ ‭14‬:‭13‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬. Spiritual stillness is dwelling in the presence of God in the secret place of prayer. Moses was a man of prayer, communion and sensitivity to the presence of God. The devil will always use our past to torment and pursue us with fear but God is able to use His destiny to drown our enemies with faith in Christ Jesus.

Did Moses have fear, anxiety and stress? Sure he did in such life and death situations. But his stillness is being in position with God. We fear because we do not move forward, for prayer is not just words but actions to advance. Our Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the Israelites to move on. Raise your staff and stretch out your hand over the sea to divide the water so that the Israelites can go through the sea on dry ground. Exodus‬ ‭14‬:‭15‬-‭16.‬ ‭We need to take up our rightful positions in prayer with the Lord to see breakthroughs in 2024. Know this, the first attack by enemy is our prayer life. There is urgent call back into God’s command center of intercession. Remember this, a prayerless Christian is a powerless one. Our greatest threat to the kingdom of darkness and demonic realms is God’s secret Place of Profitable Prophetic Prayer. Psalm 91:1. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, it is not my might nor by power but by the Spirit of God who leads us into your secret place of Prayer. You are our commander in chief in Intercession. All powers and authority has been given you when you defeated death and the devil by your Blood, your Cross, and your Resurrection. As I make the Most High my dwelling place and the Lord as my refuge, no evil shall come upon me and no plague shall come near my family. Remove all spiritual obstructions and obstacles that is hindering the promises of God in our lives, Jesus' Name, Amen!
