Today‘s Inspiration: ”Her (Wisdom) ways are pleasant ways, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her; those who hold her fast will be blessed.” Proverbs 3:17-18 NIV. God has specially created us as spiritual beings and He has also blessed both man and woman of God that seek Him, with wisdom. Wisdom is not knowledge that we learnt in school, neither achievements we attained nor experiences that we had in the past. From the proverbs, we learnt that wisdom comes from the reverence, inquisition and revelation of God himself who gave King Solomon his request. 1 Kings 3:9.
Wisdom comes from discernment which is also the gift of the Holy Spirit. A person who is wise builds strong, faithful and lasting relationship with God because he or she learns to discern the heart of the people. Discernment also grows and sharpens through spiritual maturity, bearing fruitfulness in the Spirit. Galatians 3:23-24. A heart of wisdom also comes from numbering our days and know that life is so brief and time is so precious. Psalms 90:12. You can’t live a moment a second time and you can’t earn back a day no matter how rich you are. When you are young time crawls so slow but as you grow older, it flies so fast but time with God is delightful, peaceful and fruitful eternally.
Prayer: O Lord our God, I seek of your wisdom to live a fruitful life like Christ. Lead me in your gifting, purpose and calling that you have created me to become in your divine image. May your Word set apart the thoughts in my mind and the attitudes of my heart like a double edged sword. Lead me with your Spirit to make wise, faithful and godly decisions that my life walks in the righteousness of God, in Jesus Name, Amen.
