Today's Inspiration: To perform miracles, we need to speak to our situation to bring to fulfillment the things we desire. Moses had to speak to the Rock to bring forth water, but he struck the Rock instead. God was bringing his faith to another level, but he chose to do his ways and missed the opportunity to possess the Promised land. Abraham's faith was credited righteous because he did what he was told to do. He spoke forth his miracles and became father of Nations. Romans 4:17
At what level is your level of faith? Your faith in God and in the prophets can do wonders. 2 Chronicles 20:20. When you seek the Lord in all that you do, you will surely prosper. 2 Chronicles 26:5. We should not be negligent to serve God. Our faith can heal us. Our faith can bring in the desired wealth. Our faith can acquit us from false accusations. Our faith helps us to accomplish tasks that's deemed impossible to conquer. God measures our value according to our faith and rewards us accordingly.
Our faith follows the intents of our heart, which is the center of all human thoughts and spiritual life. We tend to think the heart refers mainly to our emotions only but in Hebrew the word levav means heart and mind. Hence the heart is the metaphor of the mind and all mental and emotional activity. As for inmost beings mentioned in the Bible in Proverbs 23:16 the Hebrew word represents kidneys and the life was to be understood on the blood Genesis 9:4. Hence we should dedicate all our mental abilities to Him. As Paul says we need to take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ 2 Corinthians 10:5 and live up to His expectations in His word. That is unshakeable faith to accomplish great exploits mentioned by Daniel, who silenced the lions by Communion with the Lord in silence to shut the mouths of lions and to hinder their hunger in critical times.
So abandon natural understanding and take control of your emotions so as to lead a victorious life, living out the truths from the heart of God. God be praised.
Prayer: O Lord, grant me your steadfast heart and mercies and love that endures forever, for which I am forever grateful. In Jesus name, Amen
