Today’s Inspiration: “Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves.” Romans 13:1-2 NKJV. To have good success and favour, we need good governance in our Nation, Churches, community and family. We live not basing on our personal principles but on biblical principles, the word and wisdom of God. I have seen many people struggle with work, family and health is because of rebellion and disobedient, especially to authority. I have yet to seen one who speaks bad of his boss and expects a promotion. But rather one who respects his superiors, parents, and elders, gains honour and favour from God and man.
To have good success. we have to guard our tongues and heart with God’s Word to be free from resentment, bitterness and unforgiveness. Pray for our government, leaders, pastors, parents and bosses. Honouring our parents is not because they are perfect but because we choose obey God. Exodus 20:12. It is not for their sake but for ours and our soul’s well being. Deep healing, restoration and reconciliation comes when we forgive what our parents, superiors or even pastors who had done wrong to us and for us to choose to love like how Christ loves us and gave his life for us though we are sinners. Romans 5:8。 Obedience is better than sacrifice is a true anointed statement and wisdom for all believers in Christ. To have joy is to have love once again in the Lord and to love one another. Love never fails. 1 Corinthians 13:8.
Prayer: O Lord my God, I choose to forgive and let go of all my resentments, unforgiveness and bitterness to my government, parents, bosses, leaders and pastors. I choose to obey your commandment and abide in your statutes. I choose to free from my past so that I can receive new blessings, favour and peace for my work, family and ministry in Jesus' Name, Amen.
