Today‘s Inspiration: ”Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.“ Joshua 1:8 NIV. The Joshua generation is a prophetic generation who Moses prayed, prophesied and proclaimed to take up the mantle of God’s Word in taking the promised land. Know this, all doors are open through the door of our mouth gate, the sheep gate which high priest and intercessors work to rebuild first before all gates in Jerusalem. Nehemiah 3:1. Notice the first impartation from Moses was on the lips and prayer. In 2024, we have to not just listen but listen carefully to the Word of God, the voice of God. Romans 10:17
Success, blessings, health and prosperity all comes from our Obedience. Likewise wars, curses, sickness and poverty come from disobedience to God’s Word. Warfare always comes from Words. When we are truly born again, so does our lips and words. They become like fresh waters which brings life to our soul and people around us. When I was saved in my university days, the first encounter was God healed all my vulgarities and swearing miraculously. In the Book of James it said,”Out of the same mouth come praise and cursing. My brothers and sisters, this should not be. Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? My brothers and sisters, can a fig tree bear olives, or a grapevine bear figs? Neither can a salt spring produce fresh water.“ James 3:10-12. What is flowing out of your mouth today? Be bold and courageous to seek God and change.
Prayer: O Lord my God, I repent of all self promises, curses or words that doesn’t please you. Remove my hardened heart and give me a new heart to forgive, pray, and speak of your divine Word of healing, restoration and reconciliation. Pull down all my pride, anger and frustrations. Rebuild my broken areas that shall raise up age old foundations of your word of holiness and righteousness. Let there be forgiveness, love and grace in my family. Let me be Holy, for you are Holy. Cleanse and sanctify my lips, and deliver me from all curses and evil, in Jesus Name, Amen
