Today’s Inspiration: “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” I Corinthians 3:16-17 NKJV. Scriptures are not meant to be just read or studied but to be chewed, digested, and applied to life. Salvation is not a status but a journey of reformation, regeneration, and transformation to the Word of God, who is Christ. Philippians 2:12. If our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, we have to be prayerful, restful and mindful to take good care of it.
In the healing ministry, we have seen many who are unwell actually lacks soul care. And you will be surprised that many hate themselves and life, negating what God has wonderfully purposed us to be. Psalm 139:14. They eat, think and speak unhealthily, contrary to the Word of God and neglected the temple of God. But praise be to God, healing and restoration manifest when we see that we are God’s building, field and workmanship. 1 Corinthians 3:9. Life is not a bed of roses but eternal life is the bedrock of God’s love, grace, and mercy. Repentance actually helps us to love back our spirit, soul, and body through forgiveness of God in Christ. Glory to God.
Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive me if there were negligence of soul care and remove all bitterness. Thank you for giving me life and your love to be a child of God. Let my spirit, soul, body and life be washed daily by your word for you are Holy. Sanctify me daily that I may walk in your ways, obey your commands and please to do your will. For it’s no longer I who live but Christ, my wonderful saviour and healer who lives inside of me, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
