Today's Inspiration: Jesus did many miracles and His disciples testified that they were eye witnesses to them and if everything He does were recorded even the world itself could not contain the books that would be written. John 21:25. Even after resurrection when His closest disciples decided to go for fishing but caught nothing, He appeared instructing them and providing for them. John 21:6-14. What a provision! His provision is always in surplus. This made Him the provider besides the Healer. He always paved a way where there seemed to be no way.
So what are you fearing? All you have to do is believe and it shall be done to you.
It's when you come to nothingness that God showed you your greatness in Him and His plans for you. The Lord's calling is eternal. It must be fulfilled whatever the circumstances.
God told Abraham that he is blessed to be a blessing to many families. Genesis 12:3. Likewise our blessings should not be kept to ourselves but be shared with others as well. The world needs a change. It's up to us to fill the gap of bringing meaning to people of all walks of life through the Gospel. Like Jesus our food is to do the will of Him who sent us and finish the work. John 4:34. It's His will that we fulfill the Great commission He prescribed in Matthew 28:19-20 by being His witness which the Israelites failed to do so in ancient times. Even the Samaritans who heard Him believed Jesus Christ is the Christ the Savior of the world. V42.
Jesus also emphasized to the Samaritan woman that the Father is seeking true worshippers who worship in spirit and in truth for God is Spirit. Many believers do not pay emphasis on prayer that cultivate a closer walk with Him and on worship that brings healing to our soul and body. It's through our worship that God's promoting could be caught. Satan will also flee from true worshippers and those who gave their full allegiance to Christ as their Master and Lord. James 4:7. Therefore resisting the voice of Satan should take prominence in our life. There is power in worship. Worship in spirit and in truth changes the atmosphere of the environment that shuts out the power of darkness. God be praised.
Prayer: Lord may I be able to model after Jesus to win the world for Christ and not to condemn the world. Grant me the grace of Your wisdom to speak the right word that touched their lives to set them free. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
