Today's Inspiration: By humility and fear of the Lord are riches, honor and life. Proverbs 22:4. The rich rules over the poor and the borrower is servant to the lender. V7. There is a season for everything. Be smart like Mordecai and Esther who did not confront the enemy but prayed and fasted. For the power of prayer is stronger than any plot conjured by evil men or women.
If you are looking for miracles, it's not how long we pray but how sincerely we pray that will bring miracles from heaven. Be sober and alert for the enemy prowls around to stir up unity and love. Satan knows what strings to pull, what buttons to push and what imperfection to play upon to get the reaction he wants. He knows where the blind spots in our characters are as well as where the unhealed wounds in the spirit are. He knows when to reach them and how to reach them. He comes to us indirectly and comes not as evil but angel of the light. He only want to get our time, energy and money. Satan is satisfied with us loving ourselves and his best work is carried on by those who love themselves - their careers, their security, their family, and their friends.
Remember Satan is a liar and a deceiver and want to disrupt our love for each other. John 8:44. That's why apostle Paul tells us to resist the wiles of the devil. Ephesians 6:10. We are against power of darkness and, against principalities and rulers of darkness of this age and not against flesh and blood. Ephesians 6:12. Satan is always behind our dissatisfaction with each other. So do not be ensnared. Make the Lord your confidence. Proverbs 3:26. Satan consistently and intentionally challenged the word and Sovereignty of God. We must be aware of his evil devices lest he takes advantage of us. 2 Corinthians 2:11. It's dumb to allow Satan to use you to mock God and challenge His power over life and history. Hamon did it and was hung by the gallows he built for Mordecai. Herod did it and was stricken by the worms who ate his body.
Whoever guards his mouth and tongue keeps his soul from troubles. Proverbs 21:23. Learn from our past mistakes. Be wise and be a friend of God not a friend of Satan. Be a good steward of the manifold of His grace. It's Satan's nature to bite in the end. Let iron sharpens iron. God be praised.
Prayer: Dear Lord I sprinkle the blood of Jesus over my family my career, my ministry, my lintel and pillars of my house, my peace and joy. God has redeemed us by the blood of Jesus from all evil so let us overturn his schemes and love one another. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
