23 January 2021 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: Every work that Hezekiah did in the service of the House of God in law and in commandment seeking God, he did with all his heart and prospered. 2 Chronicles 31:20. It's first an honor to serve God. Secondly it's a privilege to be able to seek God in the holy temple which is made available only by the shed blood of Jesus Christ and even if we are lost with words to pray, the Holy Spirit pleaded for us in intercession beyond our understanding that attracts answers beyond our expectation. Romans 8:26-27. As we perform His will, with all our heart, we will prosper. Such are the privileges of the children of God.

God will not forsake those who seek the face of God. Always do what is good, and true before the Lord.

In times of distress, God always remembers our good deeds and bless us accordingly. Such is the honor of our Communion with God. God never forsake Hezekiah even when he was mortally ill because of pride. Instead as he humbled the pride of his heart, before the Lord, God gave him immense riches and honor. 2 Chronicles 32:26-27. God always remembers what we have done. Murmuring and complaining in times of distress don't bear fruit. God be praised.

Prayer: My heart is steadfast O my Lord. Be exalted above the heavens and the Earth. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
