Today’s Inspiration: “And the apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith.” So the Lord said, “If you have faith as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be pulled up by the roots and be planted in the sea,’ and it would obey you.” Luke 17:5-6 NKJV. One of the most powerful teaching of Jesus is the sermon of faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. Hebrews 11:6. Why is it that when people pray and there is no answer from God? Is there a lacking of faith? How do we increase our faith?
Firstly you must understand that there is a devil called Satan who is the ruler of the air and He is a deceiver and father of lies, who keeps souls from having faith in Jesus. How? By frustrating your prayers and to have fear, doubts and unbelief. He plants negative seeds into your minds and emotions through your reactions. You will be shock by what I am going to tell you. There isn’t breakthrough because our Words outside our prayer time is contradicting and obstructing our believe and faith. Let alone without prayer. James 1:6. One brother in Christ told me that his wife spends hours in the room praying and worshiping God but as soon as she comes out from her room she starts quarrelling with him. And there were no breakthroughs in finances, health and relationships. Jesus taught that our words are like seeds of faith that can move mountains and uproot trees. Mark 11:23. But it can also be seeds of curses if we criticise negatively, grumble, argue and behave contrary to God’s commands and Christ’s nature. Such actions hinder prayers. If God is opening up your spiritual eyes on this, you shall see powerful answered prayers coming your way strongly. Obey His commands and be blessed. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, forgive me for all the negative words, thoughts and behaviours that are contrary to your Holy Word. Let the words of my mouth and meditation of my heart, both in prayer and daily operations be aligned to your great promises in your living Word. I shall prosper, in Spirit, Soul, and Body at all times, and my breakthrough is coming with obedience in Jesus' Name, Amen!
