He must replace the old mind with the new mind that will desire spiritual things. In seeking Christ, one eventually discovered the freedom he always longed for. It's in the mind where we wrestle with desires of the flesh that are engaged in serious warfare against the evil spirit.
Often people asked why conflict intensified rather than diminished after knowing Christ. After knowing Christ His light illuminates the mind that shines into your soul and your spiritual eyes are opened to things you have never seen before. You begin to see your faults and human frailty as against His powerful life that is at work within you. Noticed faith is the doorway to rightful living. We are only justified by our faith and the blood of Christ. Romans 5:1,9. Faith releases heavenly power that enables us the right to come to God and to fulfill our destiny. The more thoroughly we read the word of God, the more precious His word is to us and the better it tastes like honey in the rock.
Connecting to the spirit of God illuminates your understanding of the scriptures that facilitate right action towards our family and others thereby fulfilling the second greatest commandment of loving one another. Matthew 22:39, 1 John 4:7. Till you receive the fullness of His love, fulfilling this law is remote. God be praised.
