Today’s Inspiration: “But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.” Matthew 6:6 NIV. The greatest calling of God is prayer. God’s divine reward is not given from the earth but from the heavens. We cannot renew our minds without prayer. Only being vulnerable to God will keep us dwelling in the secret place of intercession and intimacy. Psalm 51:17. God is not moved by our talents, gifts or competency. He is moved by our prayers on bended knees.
The Hebrew word Barack is known as Blessed but is also known as knees which are bended in reverence of God. The world fights with pride but the kingdom of God battles with humility, bended knees and prayer. God opposes the proud but shows favour to the humble. James 4:6. The disciples of Jesus Christ knew the power of His miracles and anointing of His healing were found in the secret place of prayer of His communion, consecration and communication with God. Psalm 91:1. Strange but true, our closest position with God is on our knees, just like man on the fishing boat, the woman with issue of blood and the woman with the alabaster jar. Praise God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, my desire is to dwell in the kingdom of God all the days of my life in prayer, petitions and thanksgiving in my heart. Nothing is impossible for you in the secret place of prayer and in prayers all things are possible for God. Heal me and I shall be healed and save and I shall be saved, for you are the Lord who loves my soul, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
