Today’s Inspiration: “Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because whoever suffers in the body is done with sin. As a result, they do not live the rest of their earthly lives for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.” 1 Peter 4:1-2. The love of Christ is a divine recompense, justice, and grace not for the righteous but for the sinners. It is easy to love those who love you but how do we react to those who hate us, abuse us, or even curse us. What if they are living with you? Christianity is not about having breakthroughs for physical things but for a breakthrough in spiritual awakening in our hearts.
The end of all things is near. Therefore be alert and of sober mind so that you may pray. Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 1 Peter 4:7-9. It is the love of Christ that gives us the courage, strength, and willingness to face our deepest hurts, pain, and shame that sin had caused, to heal us from all wounds, so that Christ can take them all to the Cross. 1 Peter 2:24. It is the Power of the Cross that lead us to repentance, recompense and restoration back to God’s will. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen. 1 Peter 4:11.
Prayer: O Lord my God, your ways are higher than mine and your thoughts are higher than mine, just as the heavens are above the earth. Let me bless those who cursed me, pray for those who persecute me, and do good to those who hurt me. Let there be a deep healing and restoration within my soul for the joy of the Lord, shall be my strength and shield, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
