Today's Inspiration: Though the river may rage yet you should not be disturbed. Be confident though Jordan gushes into its mouth. Job 40:23. Jesus has given us two powerful keys to bind and to loose. To bind means to unite to become one with and to agree with something. Today we want to expound a truth about binding and loosing. In every area of our lives Moses instructed his followers to bind to the promises of Jehovah as in Deuteronomy 6:8. In doing so they will be freed from oppression, torment and harassment of the enemy. Proverbs 3:3 requires us to bind mercy and truth about our necks and write them upon the tablets of our heart. Proverbs 7:3 we are to bind them upon our fingers and write them on the tablets of our heart.
In none of the scriptures did God used the word bind to indicate withholding evil or restrain the devil. Moses told the children of Israel to bind themselves to every word God has given them in His covenant. Moses never once said we are to bind the devil. He only instructs us to attach ourselves to the word of God.
Therefore binding is a covenant word. The Hebrew word for covenant is b'riyth meaning to bind. In Matthew 16:19 and 18:18 Jesus encourages His covenant people to bind themselves to covenant promises and to loose themselves from everything that would violate or prohibit those blessings from getting manifested in their lives. Therefore you need to loose yourselves from the landmines of the enemy.
Jesus will return for a spotless triumphant bride not for one who is discouraged, oppressed and defeated. By using accurately these keys, you walk into a new place with God, a place of oneness and freedom you have never known before. The Holy spirit then will bring you into liberty. Therefore use your binding and loosing keys accurately. When you bind Satan as you always do, you bind your bondage to your spirit instead of the promises of God for your freedom.
Prayer: Lord I bind Jeremiah 29:11 to my spirit that you have plans to prosper me and loose any hindrances to such blessing you have promised. I loose financial bondage and bind Galatians 5:1 and write on the tablet of my heart your provision for my financial freedom in Jesus name. I loose bitterness and unforgiveness from my spirit and bind your words that promised healing in Jeremiah 33:6 and write on it on the tablet of my heart. I eradicate sickness and replace it with health. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
