Today's Inspiration: We tend to panic when things go wrong and the first thing that comes to our mind is that our plans are shattered. We have turned our night into day. Job 17:11-12. This was in the mind of Job but God had a better plan. In His own eyes in the face of darkness light is near. What we need at this time is the fruit of peace. The scripture is clear that we should abandon anxiety because the more anxious we are the wider the door is opened to the enemy. God has promised the blessing of peace that guards our heart and mind in Christ Jesus Phil 4:6-7. He also promised us the blessing of relational peace, the presence of wholeness in our relations with others, the unity of the spirit through the bond of peace. Ephesians 4:3.
We should not waver in our faith when things go wrong but in all things live a life of full surrender and allow God to take control of the situation instead of making speculations in our mind and take action before problem comes to us. This is not faith. In Job 3:25 whatever we fear will come to us. If we have fear of situations coming to us then we are running our lives with our own understanding rather than allowing God full Sovereignty over our lives. In the midst of a storm God cautions us to be still and see His Deliverance. May God still the storm inside of you. When faith is lacking, the tree cannot bear fruit. So trust the Lord your God with all your heart. Proverbs 3:5. Do not lean on your own understanding. Don't allow the enemy to distract you to miss the opportunities God has for you.
Prayer: Lord help my unbelief. I believe in You with my whole heart but I need your help not to allow the enemy to distract me from what You have for me. In Jesus' name, Amen.
