21 February 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “‘Thus says the Lord God: “On the day that I cleanse you from all your iniquities, I will also enable you to dwell in the cities, and the ruins shall be rebuilt. The desolate land shall be tilled instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass by.” Ezekiel‬ ‭36:33-34.‬ God is in the business of healing and double restoration. Like the life of Job who lost his finances, family and reputation when the devil was trying to make him hate and blame God. Even his wife told him to curse God and die. Job 2:9.

We all face dire situations and circumstances in life when problems doesn’t seem to be according to God’s promises. But this doesn’t mean God isn’t working in your life. Job 37:5. Rather it is in time of crisis, Christ is real to us and our foundation of our faith is truly tested through prayer, fasting and worship. Ironically to say but true that all heroes in the Bible were birth though perilous, dangerous and troubled times. Why did God allowed the devil to afflict Job? Know this, God knows us more than what we know about ourselves and he loves us more than we love Him. John 3:16 Job was self righteous due to his achievements and it was through the test and trials he encountered, experienced and recognised God’s unfailing love and restoration for him, his family and work. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, use every test and trials in my life to know you deeper and experience you stronger with thy grace and wisdom. Let I move and advance in thy Spirit of Christ to trust and believe in all situations that you are my good good Father, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
