20 May 2022 Word by Snr Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews‬ ‭11:6.‬ Trust is our foundation and relationship with God. Like a child who in the mother’s womb, on the father’s shoulder, and doesn’t worry about tomorrow. A childlike faith belongs to the kingdom of Heaven because he or she trusts in God wholeheartedly. Matthew 19:14.

Many struggle with trust because of missing fathers in the family or unloving mothers who are absent in a child’s life. We can’t build strong relationships without building trust in our lives. We can’t have faith without trust in God and believing He is able to bring healing, restoration and reconciliation to our lives. Proverbs 3:5-8 Trust is a relentless pursuant and deep confidence in God through Jesus Christ. Without trust, Peter would not walk on water, Moses would not walk through the Red Sea, and water will not be turned into wine. Without trust, Jesus would not carry the Cross. Coming back to our First love and seeking God our Father first in all things is building trust again. Revelation 2:4. Trusting God fortifies our confidence, esteem and courage. Conviction, repentance and forgiveness rebuilds our trust in God and rebuilds our character, marriage and parenting in Christ. Trust builds strong families and gives us a new measure of faith. Praise God!

Prayer: O Lord my God, let me lean not on my own understand but trust you in all things as my first love. Let my heart, my soul, my mind and strength be wholly yours. I may not know what holds tomorrow but I believe and trust you hold my future, destiny and life in the palms of your loving divine hands. You are my Abba Father and I trust in you for all things, and through you nothing is impossible for healing, miracles, signs and wonders in my life, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
