Today's Inspiration: Timothy was asked by Paul to guard what has been entrusted to His care and to turn away from godless chatter and opposing ideas of men, 1 Timothy 6:20. We should never allow external circumstances or internal thoughts and desires to distract us. Our deepest focus and joy comes from our relationship with Him. When we allow ourselves to love Jesus unreservedly, we will be able to let His love flow out and touch all our relationship with others. When love overflows from your heart, giving becomes easy.
The Lord will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hands to, provided you give generously and not grudgingly and be open handed towards the poor and needy. Deuteronomy 15:10-11. As He promised, you will lend to many nations but borrow from none. You will rule but none will rule over you. V6. Giving also frees us from bondage to satanic deceitfulness of riches.
The less we are bound by others' expectation the more we are bound to Christ. The less we hear of human voice the more we hear His voice. Jesus often goes into solitude times with His Father in making wise choice and to energize his spirit to prevent burnt out in ministry. In Him we have peace beyond comprehension. What about you? We need to see Christ in complete fullness doing all we can to pattern our life after His example.
Prayer: Lord mould me and refine me to be pure vessels of the carriers of Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
