Today’s Inspiration: “Women received their dead raised to life again. Others were tortured, not accepting deliverance, that they might obtain a better resurrection. Still others had trial of mockings and scourgings, yes, and of chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, were tempted, were slain with the sword. They wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins, being destitute, afflicted, tormented— of whom the world was not worthy. They wandered in deserts and mountains, in dens and caves of the earth.” Hebrews 11:35-38.
Christianity is not a religion but an enlistment as a soldier for Christ. Martyrdom is not terrorism who kills to go heaven, but on the contrary to save and show the love of Christ to heal, restore and reconcile man to God like Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour, despite costing their lives. John 10:10. “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” Galatians 2:20. You can’t live a Christian life without crucifying the flesh, put on the full amour of God, and be ready for training to face the next battle of faith. Prophet Hosea said,” We perish because of the lack of knowledge.” Hosea 4:6. Once a veteran pastor preached that the true Church is not the Sunday service but the Prayer Meeting, where intercessory warriors and soldiers of God’s Kingdom gather to bring down the strongholds, breaks bondages and raise up a standard against satan and his legions. Worship is not singing, it’s Warfare. Prayer is not babbling, it is Power to bring down heavenly armies to rout and destroy the demonic realms. Isaiah 25:11.
Prayer: O Lord my God, let my eyes not be on the things of this world but be enlisted into your Kingdom’s army. You are the way, the truth and the life. Equip me with thy amour and strengthen me with thy spirit that I may fight the good fight of faith to give glory to God, to pursue the enemy in thousand and with two, ten thousands to flight, in Jesus' Name, Amen!
