2 February 2021 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: The spirit of the man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart. Proverbs 20:27. Let Him search your hearts this morning and let your ears catch the gentle whisper of His word that our God Lord is secretly bringing to you to form a new image in you. God reveals the attitude of your heart towards His testing of your faith. It's His will always to frustrate the crafty plans of the enemy so that their hands cannot execute their plans against you as the Blood of Jesus has already redeemed you from the hands of the devil.

Happy is the man whom God corrects therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. Job 5:17. Blows and wounds cleanse away evil and beatings purge the inner most being.

Man does not know his value until a new image is formed from his fallen nature. For believers, sanctification defines the inner state of separation from everything in the world brought about by Divine work of grace in the believer's life. This work of grace at salvation sets believers apart and cannot be attained through human effort as cleansing is necessary in the heart of man to achieve purity from the influence of the world. All it takes is a renewed mind after Sanctification by the Holy spirit. Romans 12:2. At sanctification, you are taken out of the kingdom of Satan and joined to the Messiah in another kingdom- the Kingdom of light. Colossians 1:13.

Sanctification involves separation, dedication, purity and consecration for service unto the Lord. When we do the will of God we are bound to the Lord forever. 1 John 2:17. To be Bride of Christ we need to be sanctified by the God of peace Himself completely that may our whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless at the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. He who calls us is faithful and will do it. 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24. God be praised.

Prayer: Abba Father let me be sanctified by the truth that I may be liberated from the world to serve Yahweh the Living God and abide with Him forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
