19 November 2021 Word by Senior Pastor, Ps Darien Choo

Today’s Inspiration: How are we living today? In lavishness or in poverty, in abundance or in lack, in joy or in sadness. In life, there are all these in stages and ages, the valleys and the mountains. Apostle Paul says,” “But the Lord said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10. God’s Word is our edification, exhortation, and comfort in times of need.

Love doesn’t come only in good times but even more in the difficult ones. When we are angry, frustrated or even depress, we can still receive the lavish love of God. Jesus lives daily in the presence and communion with our Father in heaven, who guards his mind and heart in deep prayer and intercession. If anyone obeys God’s word, the love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did. 1 John 2:5-6. Jesus didn’t depend on the world for love and provision, He depended on God for His love, strength and all sufficiency of grace. When you trust God with all your heart, stress is breaking and breakthroughs are coming. Praise Him!

Prayer: O Lord My God, in the heavens you are there, here on earth you are there and even deep beneath, you exists. Create in me a pure heart O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me, for you are my all sufficiency and grace, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
