Today's Inspiration: His presence and His power matters. Our prayer must usher in the glory of God to fill the whole house that caused us to bow down in reverence. 2 Chronicles 7:1-2. The Lord chose to inhabit in the presence of His people.

We must approach the throne of grace with a sincere surrendered heart. The experience with God must be an inward spiritual one yet tangible and just as real. Our calling is not to a legal relationship with Him but to an experienced fellowship with Him. 1 John 1:1-3.

What do you think this passion be that those consumed by it would forsake all worldly fortune, pleasure, and pursuit in seeking to take the Gospel to others? Their passion was the deepest desire to bring men to personal knowledge of Jesus Christ and the Father. John actually advised us that we should pursue the same fellowship with God that he experienced. John's fellowship was an intimate fellowship with his Master and Lord.

In fact now we are called to an even deeper inward fellowship with God than what Jesus' disciples enjoyed while He was on the Earth. In fact the Communion we experience with Jesus is far more intimate than physical closeness. Our summons from the great King is to know Him, to enjoy Him and to possess Him. God is faithful. 1 Corinthians 1:9. Our experience should be the highest aspiration. God be praised.

Prayer: Lord I desire to draw close to you to talk with You to know You more. Nothing I desire Lord is to fellowship with You. In You, I am complete and can do all things. Without You we are clueless and can do nothing. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
