18 Sept 2020 Word by Honorary Pastor Rev Alicia Teo

Today's Inspiration: God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you have shown Him as you have helped His people and continue to help them. The Lord wants each of you to show this same diligence to the very end in order to make your hope sure. God wants you to be like others who through faith and patience inherit what had been promised and not to idle your time. Hebrews 6:10-12. Be confident of better things to come that accompany salvation. V9. What a wonderful God we serve! We must be cautious to do good works always and not to doubt each other's good intentions. Every thought, word and deed are being recorded by the angels in heaven which will be tested by fire in days to come.

We thank God for our Savior and our Lord Jesus Christ who is our hope and anchor for our soul, firm and secure as He went before us to prepare a place for us and interceding for us forever. With His intercession, we need not fear lack of anything but remain secure in Him.

This weekend being a holy weekend where we celebrate Rosh Hashanah where God promised a great revival ahead of us, let us prepare for this time. This New Year is being shut down in Israel to awaken the Jews and religious people that God requires relational worship more than religious ritual and may the truth set them free this weekend as the words go forth. John 8:32.

As Jesus' disciple, we need to take heed of His word and to observe how Abraham even before the Levi came into being, celebrates his victory by offering a tenth to Melchizedek then the King of Salem and priest of God most high. Even more should we offer to the great High priest in Yeshua who is the great High priest who prepares the way for us to inner sanctuary in the heavenly and who is Jehovah Tsidkenu God of righteousness, Jehovah Shalom the Lord of peace, Jehovah Ma'adesh the Lord who cleansed us and Jehovah Rapha the Lord who heals. Hebrews 7. Jesus has made us a priesthood of believers not on the basis of ancestry but on the basis of indestructible life. If we are a priesthood of believers then like Jesus we needed to intercede day and night for our leaders and everyone in the family of Christ. Jesus has done His will to make us holy through His sacrifice of His body over for all. Hebrews 10:10. Therefore let us live life worthily unto the Lord according to God's standards. God does not desire that we shrink back but to persevere by faith or it will not be pleasing to Him. V38.

So rejoice as we enter the Rosh Hashanah this weekend starting from tonight. Do not just be hearers but to act upon His word and grow Spiritually. As you read scriptures this weekend, let the word be rhema to you to awaken your sprit to better things ahead. God be praised. Have a blessed Rosh Hashanah weekend!

Prayer: Father, we thank You for the sacrifice of Your only Son Jesus Christ who paid the price for us that we are no longer in darkness but in the Light. Being children of the Light, help us to persevere walking by faith not by sight believing for a better place to come of which You are the Architect and builder. Our hope will not be disappointed as Jesus is now the anchor of our soul to keep us secure in You in Jesus name Amen.
