Today's Inspiration: People are saved for useful service. God distinguish those who serve God and those who do not serve Him. Malachi 3:18. It's not us that hang onto Christ that saved us as that is law which cannot save us but Christ hanging onto us and having more of us. In short, we are saved by grace and a life of full surrender of self to Him. What we do continuously is only an act of grace.

God knows our heart and everything about us. We cannot be justified without the blood of Christ and without our faith. Romans 5:1, 9.

Righteousness don't exist in us. We need Jesus' blood to reckon us righteous. We can only be reckoned righteous only through the righteousness of Christ. Hence justification is not exoneration nor vindication as God does not judge unrighteously. We must first be redeemed by His blood and cleansed with His word as we confess all our sins to Him before we can be righteous and saved from wrath of God. Psalm 51:7. It's through His blood that we are made righteous, acquitted and considered not guilty.

Only then can we offer our body as a living sacrifice as an act of worship. Romans 12:1 and be clothed with garment of salvation and arrayed with robe of righteousness like a bridegroom adorning his head like a priest and a bride adorning herself with jewels. Hence, we are justified only by His calling us to righteousness by His grace. Righteousness does not come naturally or Christ would have died in vain. Galatians 2:21. God be praised.

Prayer: Lord may my offering be offered in righteousness and be acceptable to you as sanctified and holy. In Jesus’ name.
