Today’s Inspiration: “Therefore, brethren, having boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:19-23.
Repentance is beautiful. It brings a human heart and soul into a fresh renewal in the Spirit man. In Greek, it is the changing of the mind and in Hebrew, it is the consecration of the heart. Repentance doesn’t make us weak as a person but on the contrary it makes us strong as a spiritual being. Without repentance there is no renewal of mind and changing of hearts. Without renewal, there is no refreshing in the soul and only the refreshing by God brings forth restoration to wholesomeness. Acts 3:19-21. A true heart is a pure heart before God, a broken spirit and contrite one He will not turn away. Psalm 51:17. Come back to Church for a refreshing change and encounters once again.
Prayer: O Lord my God, wake me up from my spiritual slumber and break prayerlessness in my soul that I may seek you first and sought your face. Let my heart be purified and hands be cleansed by your Word daily to do your will. Lead me away from temptations and deliver me from evil always, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
