Today’s Inspiration: “If you love Me, keep My commandments. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.” John 14:15-18 NKJV. This was a prophetic Word which Jesus spoke of what He will do after His resurrection, seated at the mighty right hand of God’s throne, making intercession for us. His core prayer is for us to be filled with the Holy Spirit. Praise God!

Prayer is not to be religious, which focus on self. Prayer is to be led, filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit, focusing on the will of God. Matthew 6:10. Our emotional and mental challenges today comes from our past hurts, pains and abuses, hidden in our subconscious mind. Although they are protected by our will, it reacts when provoked by familiar fears, worries and anxieties. Without a strong prayer life, the flesh will always take over just like allowing the Midianites to plunder the Israelites in Judges 6. But when Gideon begin to build the Altar of Peace after God called Him out as a man of Valour, things started to change. The family altar of baal were pulled down and Asheroth poles were cut down , his township begin take heed, and his influence expanded to 4 tribes to gather and battle against the Midianites. Why? The Spirit of God came upon him as he builds the prayer altar and follow the Word of God. Glory to God!
Prayer: O Lord my God, thank you for your Holy Spirit whom you had prayed on earth as it is in heaven, so that in prayer we be filled and be led daily by your word, will and wisdom daily. It was for freedom in your Spirit that you Lord has set me free and let I no longer be burdened by the yoke of slavery of the world but I shall walk in the power of your Holy Spirit, in Jesus' Name, Amen.
