Today’s Inspiration: A Christian family requires Kingdom language to prosper. What homes are lacking today in the body of Christ is the love for God’s Word and Godly communication. A Christian home must be filled with the Holy Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting to one another in the fear of God.” Ephesian 5:19-21 NKJV
Why fight and quarrels arises is because we want it our way, disregarding the cares of others, lacking in submission to Christ, who is the head of the House. Strong parenting derives from strong marriages, who has the fear of the Lord which is humility and submission to one another. God brings unity but satan creates divisions. The root of issue is not that we can’t communicate but we can’t submit. To build strong relationships we must learn to be like Christ, who loves the Church and gave His life for her. We can’t love is because we need to be healed of the past and its reactions. May the Lord open our eyes of enlightenment, renew our minds, and change our hearts daily to be more like Him.
Prayer: O Lord My God, teach me how to communicate with your love. Forgive my pride and selfishness, that I learnt to submit to you, and others around me. Guide me to put the interests of others first as you did at the Cross and bring unity & peace to my family, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
