Today’s Inspiration: “The end of a matter is better than its beginning, and patience is better than pride. Do not be quickly provoked in your spirit, for anger resides in the lap of fools. Do not say, “Why were the old days better than these?” For it is not wise to ask such questions. Wisdom, like an inheritance, is a good thing and benefits those who see the sun.” Ecclesiastes 7:8-11 NIV. Wisdom is always better than strength and weapons of war. Why do we get angry is because of the “wrongs” within us. Apostle Paul wrote, “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold.” Ephesians 4:26-27.
Anger and frustrations emerge because of wrong thoughts, words and actions within us. Whatever we sow we reap for God is not mocked. Galatians 6:7. Anger is conjured through toxic negative perceptions of others and surprising even of self and God due to insecurity, fear and oppressions in the past. Healing of anger through repentance brings great harvest of love, peace and joy in the spirit man for good health and fruitful relationships. We experienced many cases in the past where heart attacks, stroke and high blood pressure occured were souls who has anger and rage issues, despite other factors like hereditary or diet issues. But praise unto God we have Christ who is our peace, healer and deliverer who gives us new thoughts, words and actions of godliness through the gospel. A renewed mind is a renewed life. Be open for God’s healing grace.
Prayer: O Lord my God, you are the author and finisher of my faith. May the washing and cleansing of your word be made available for the repentance of any offences, anguish or bitterness in my heart and my mind. May your peace O Lord that surpasses all knowledge and understanding guard my mind and heart to have the right thoughts, words and actions, in jesus' Name, Amen.
